Job summary

ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors in Enid, Oklahoma is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician I to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test fire alarm and life-safety systems for government programs.

This position requires a State of Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm Technician License and/or Oklahoma State Unlimited Journeymen Electrical License with Alarm Endorsement, plus one year of related experience or six months of formal schooling with documented experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess State of Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm Technician License and/or Oklahoma State Unlimited Journeymen Electrical License with Alarm Endorsement
• One year of documented experience relating to the job classification or successful documented completion of formal schooling with 6 months of documented experience required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test fire alarm/life safety systems per codes and standards
• Assist with maintaining building automation and other electronic controlled systems
• Review blueprints/drawings to determine device locations and placement
• Ensure materials and equipment match scope of work and task/project requirements

Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing fire alarm/life safety systems and associated devices according to local and national codes and standards. Assists with maintaining building automation and other electronic controlled systems. Reviews blueprints/drawings to determine device locations and placement. Ensures material and equipment match scope of work and task/project requirement. Performs other job related duties as assigned. Must possess State of Oklahoma Commercial Fire Alarm Technician License and/or Oklahoma State Unlimited Journeymen Electrical License with Alarm Endorsement. One year of documented experience relating to the job classification or successful documented completion of formal schooling with 6 months of documented experience required.
