Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician at our West Mobile, AL district office. You will provide inspections, installations, and service on industrial fire alarm systems with professionalism and efficiency.

The role requires NICET certification or licensing, 3+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service and communication skills. You will work under the Fire Alarm Manager and participate in training and apprenticeship programs.

Qualifications

• NICET Certification or licensing required by NFPA/National codes.
• Experience and licensing indicate qualification for industrial fire alarm work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Work independently with clear communication with customers, supervisor, and service team members.
• Perform routine inspections, scheduled repairs, and emergency service calls on fire alarm systems.
• Maintain and service fire alarm systems in industrial facilities, ensuring functionality and compliance.
• Identify, diagnose, and repair issues with fire alarm components, wiring, and equipment.
• Educate customers on system operation and safety precautions, including emergency procedures.
• Manage scheduling and track job progress with focus on quality and cost efficiency.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
