Job summary

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician/Inspector/Service Person to join our field team and advance within a growth‑oriented company. You will troubleshoot, program, inspect, and install fire alarm systems while delivering high‑quality service.

A strong customer service attitude and clear communication are essential for success. Candidates should have 5 years of related fire alarm experience, be able to read blueprints, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• 5 years related fire alarm experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and driver license check.
• NICET II certification is a plus; Low Voltage License is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Fire Alarm Technician is to deliver quality products and services which meet or exceed the customer's and industry standards, and to achieve customer satisfaction through a unified commitment to job competency and unsurpassed service.

Essential Job Functions:

• We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician/Inspector/Service Person who is looking for an opportunity for advancement but willing to work in the field.
• Candidates should have a good working knowledge of troubleshooting, programming, inspecting, and/or installing fire alarm systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communications and appearance.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen, Background check and Driver License Check

Experience:

• 5 years related fire alarm experience.
• OSHA Safety Training (Preferred)

Licensing:

• NICET II certification is a plus.Low Voltage License a plus along with general construction project experience being a plus. Must be able to learn quickly, read blueprints and work well with others.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
