Impact Fire Services seeks a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, and service fire alarm systems in Austin, TX. You will contribute to a fast-paced team, ensuring safety and compliance with federal, state, and local codes while meeting weekly goals.

Qualifications

• Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
• Licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Ability to learn installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Excellent communications and customer service skills.
• Ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
• Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Manage time to maximize fire alarm service, inspection, and installation calls.
• Achieve weekly productivity goals set by Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.

This position is located in Austin, TX.

Install, inspect & service perform maintenance on fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Job Summary

This position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager. The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, installations, and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.

Job Responsibilities
