Job summary
Mural-Group is seeking a Systems Technician in Nashville, TN to install, troubleshoot, inspect and maintain electrical fire alarm systems. You will communicate system performance to customers, work on a 1st shift schedule, and travel locally as needed.
Ideal candidates have at least five years of experience with fire alarm systems, NICET certification, and strong problem-solving and customer-service skills. This full-time role requires safety compliance and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Five years experience testing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems
- Experience with access control and CCTV is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs and schematics
- Supervise and inspect installation to meet customer specs
- Install, test and program fire alarm systems and related components
- Use hand and power tools for installation tasks
- Learn about new products, upgrades, and software for fire and security systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and return to working order
- Provide cost-efficient solutions and recommendations to customers
- Assist with preventive maintenance of customer equipment
- Accurately track time sheets, service tickets and inventory
- Comply with safety programs
