Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with installation, programming, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Must maintain a valid state driver license.
• NICET Level II or III certification for Fire Alarm Systems, Water Based Suppressions.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, tests, and repairs components and assemblies.
• Reassembles and tests to ensure proper function within specs.
• Troubleshoots systems and replaces defective parts.
• Identifies and connects power and signal cables and monitors operation.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures and documents results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
