Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams.
• NICET I Fire Alarm Systems certification; willingness to obtain NICET II within 2 years.
• 2+ years proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design fire alarm systems for buildings with floorplans, riser diagrams, wiring details, BOMs, and sequences of operations.
• Recommend productivity improvements and cost reductions to boost customer satisfaction.
• Assist in selecting cost-effective products and installation methods.
• Provide general electrical calculations (battery sizing, voltage drop, conduit fills, power sizing).
