JM Electronic Engineering Inc. is hiring a qualified fire alarm and low voltage technician to be based in our San Antonio, TX office.

You will install, service, and certify life safety systems in commercial environments, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant installation experience, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to learning and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience installing fire alarm equipment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• NICET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and certify life safety systems in commercial environments.
• Lead projects independently per schedule.
• Pull wire, install panels, power supplies, and devices for fire alarm systems.
• Maintain nurse call, access control, and related fire protection devices.
