Job summary

Wachter is seeking experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Burglar Installation Technicians to join our growing team. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems across commercial locations nationwide. Ideal candidates will travel extensively and work safely with strong technical skills.

Qualifications

Field installation experience in fire alarm and/or intrusion systems.
Knowledge of NFPA 70/72 standards.
Ability to read blueprints and site maps.
Willingness to travel 2–6 weeks at a time.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm and intrusion systems.
Run low-voltage cabling in commercial environments.
Install cable supports and innerduct.
Test systems to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
Adhere to NFPA standards and company safety requirements.
