Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Sales Executive to join our Life Safety team in Central Illinois. You will develop new business, build strong customer relationships, estimate projects, conduct site visits and deliver fire alarm solutions that meet customer needs and code requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales preferred.
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier or a combination of any of these preferred.
• Technical knowledge of VESDA and clean agent systems a plus
• Prior experience with NFPA to complete system layouts to ensure system meets code preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and establish long-term relationships
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with different cost components
• Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, ability to be resourceful and proactive when completing duties
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a motivated and results-driven Fire Alarm Sales Executive to join our growing Life Safety team in Central Illinois. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, estimating projects, conducting site visits, and delivering fire alarm solutions that meet customer needs and code requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fire alarm systems, life safety solutions, commercial construction, or low-voltage systems and possess the ability to work with contractors, end users, and project stakeholders throughout the sales process. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in expanding our fire alarm division while partnering with a respected industry leader known for quality, service, and innovation.

Territory: Central Illinois (Champaign, Danville, Bloomington, Peoria, Decatur, Springfield, and surrounding areas)

Compensation Range: $75,000 to $95,000

Other Compensation: Eligible for commission
