Job summary

Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Project Manager, Fire Alarm to lead installation projects, coordinate scopes, schedules, materials and labor, and ensure on-time delivery.

Join a best-in-class team delivering top-tier fire protection solutions. The role requires 4+ years PM experience in fire alarm or electrical contracting, ability to read diagrams/blueprints, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in fire alarm or electrical contracting
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
• Pass drug and background screenings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation of Fire Alarms
• Communicate and monitor project scopes, schedules, materials, and manpower on assigned installation projects.
• Coordinate appropriate technician and sub-contractor labor to meet the project schedule.
• Monitor all materials ordered and on-site for installation on every project.
• Communicate to field staff and operations on the progress of projects to ensure expectations are met.
• Be organized and able to exercise practical time management skills to prioritize workload.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally.
• Open-minded willingness to continue learning.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values.
• Any other duties deemed appropriate by management.
