Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Programmer to design, develop, test, implement, and support fire alarm programming across large-scale projects nationwide. You will work from our St.
Petersburg, FL HQ, collaborating with design teams and field technicians to ensure clean startups and commissioning. The role requires 5–8+ years in the fire alarm industry and hands-on experience with Autocall, Simplex, or Gamewell FCI.

As a Fire Alarm Systems Programmer, you will design, develop, test, implement, and support fire alarm system programming throughout the project lifecycle. Working from our state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, you will collaborate closely with design teams and field technicians to ensure systems are programmed, commissioned, and optimized for successful project delivery.
In this role, you will serve as a key technical liaison between the field and engineering teams, providing remote support during system startups, coordinating field changes, and helping troubleshoot programming and integration challenges. You’ll gain exposure to advanced technologies while contributing to the successful execution of large-scale, mission-critical life safety systems nationwide.
