Qualifications

• 3 years experience working with computerized intelligent fire alarm systems.
• Working knowledge of central station fire alarm configuration and automatic sprinkler systems.
• Normal visual acuity and ability to work from ladders.

Responsibilities

• Organize data and document work through Facilities work order system.
• Maintain and inspect all portable fire extinguishers and fire related systems.
• Perform maintenance and inspections as per NFPA and JCAHO requirements.

Skills

Knowledge of computerized intelligent fire alarm systems

Manual dexterity

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Familiarity with Massachusetts State Fire Regulations

Ability to travel to off-site locations

Education

Massachusetts System Technicians License (Class “D”)
