Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Duluth, GA is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and manufacturer specs. Responsibilities include functional testing of panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification circuits, plus documenting findings and communicating deficiencies to customers and service teams. NICET II/III preferred; 2–4 years experience; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NICET Level II or III preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; reading and interpreting blueprints or diagrams a plus.
• Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and related components per NFPA standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct functional and visual testing of alarm panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances.
• Document inspection findings and recommendations using company reporting systems.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate repair needs to customers and service teams.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams; ensure safety and quality compliance.
