Job summary

Johnson Controls in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to test and inspect fire alarm systems for existing and new customers, ensuring compliance and reliability across projects.

You will maintain accurate service documentation, follow safety policies, perform physical labor (lifting up to 70 lbs), and be available for alternative shifts or weekends; a High School Diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing or servicing fire alarm equipment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base.
• Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools provided.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and safety policies.
• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs.
• Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs.
