Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a self-motivated Inspector with at least five years of fire alarm inspection and service experience to join our Denver, CO team. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and capable of building strong relationships with customers while performing inspections, testing, and maintenance across fire protection systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, using low-voltage tools, and reporting via tablet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Fire Alarm inspection and service experience.
• Experience in reading blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Excel/Word and tablet-based reporting.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on fire protection systems.
• Work with low voltage wiring and related devices for operation of equipment.
• Complete service acknowledgements with proper coding via tablet.
• Maintain a structured inspection schedule and document archiving.
• Perform minor repairs and programming changes with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical training to junior inspectors and trainees.

This position will be located in Denver, CO.

We are seeking a self-motivated, customer service - oriented Inspector with experience in fire alarm systems to join our growing team. The ideal Inspector will be organized, professional, with exceptional communication skills. This important position will establish a rapport and build positive relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Suppression, Fire Detection, and life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.
• Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as a tablet.
• Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
• Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via tablet.
• Make minor repairs and programming changes with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical training to less senior inspectors and trainees.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Fire Alarm inspection and service experience required.
• Experience in low voltage electrical systems.
• Fire and /or Life Safety Systems experience.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs schematics and operational/product manuals.
• Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
• Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
• Proficiency with using PCs including working knowledge of MS Excel / Word as well as iPhone/iPad apps.
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
• Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes is a plus

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
