Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Fire Alarm Foreman to lead installation and retrofit projects on mission-critical facilities. You will oversee field teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure all work meets NFPA standards and local codes. Strong programming and commissioning skills are essential.

Requirements include a minimum of 10 years in the field, NICET certifications, and the ability to work at construction sites. This is a field-based role with travel and occasional overtime based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in fire alarm installation and retrofit.
• Ability to lead field crews and coordinate multiple work activities.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise fire alarm installation and retrofit projects.
• Plan, coordinate daily field activities for assigned projects.
• Install, modify, and upgrade fire alarm systems per drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Perform programming, configuration, and commissioning of fire alarm control panels and devices.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and other trades to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Train, mentor, and supervise installers and junior technicians.
