Fire Fighter Sales and Service Co. is seeking a Level 2 Fire Alarm Systems Service Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair life-safety systems. You will work both independently and with a team, ensure NFPA compliance, and communicate clearly with customers.

The role may include 24-hour emergency on-call duties and requires safety-focused, professional workmanship. Qualifications include a high school diploma, hands-on fire alarm experience, NICET II within a year,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems.
• Must obtain NICET Level II within one year.
• Ohio Fire Marshal License preferred, required within one year.
• Must obtain Notifier programming license within six months.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willing to work overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and test fire alarm and fire suppression systems per NFPA standards.
• Interact with customers to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Submit required reports to NFPA for compliance and recordkeeping.
• Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call schedule when independent.
• Maintain timesheets, billing notes, and rescheduling/follow-up docs.
• Support sales with technical details for quotations and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate labor tracking and job costing timesheets.
• Demonstrate reliability with punctual, full-day work.
• Wear PPE and adhere to site safety rules.
