Job summary

Insight Global in San Diego is seeking a hands-on SAP Techno-Functional Consultant to support SAP SLcM and related enterprise systems. The role blends ABAP development with SAP configuration and business-facing consulting.

The ideal candidate will gather requirements, design solutions, configure SAP modules, and contribute hands-on development while partnering with stakeholders to deliver large-scale implementations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on ABAP development experience.
• Experience developing reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, forms, workflows, BAPIs, IDocs, User Exits, and BADIs.
• SAP configuration experience, preferably within SAP HR/HCM, SLcM, or related SAP modules.
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP implementations and enhancements.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and facilitating requirements discussions.
• Strong process analysis, solution design, and documentation skills.
• Experience creating functional specifications, technical specifications, process flows, and test plans.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or traditional SDLC environments. SAP Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) experience.
• SAP HR/HCM experience.
• Higher Education experience.
• Experience supporting large, complex enterprise organizations

C San Diego is seeking a hands-on SAP Techno-Functional Consultant to support major SAP initiatives, including Student Lifecycle Management (SLcM) and related enterprise systems.

This role requires a combination of SAP configuration, ABAP development, and stakeholder-facing consulting experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting directly with business owners, gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring SAP modules, and performing hands-on ABAP development.

This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. The successful candidate will be expected to actively develop and configure within SAP while serving as a trusted partner to functional stakeholders.
