Job summary

Trillium Labs is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to support our team in creating high-performance solutions for trading and data analysis applications. Reporting to the Lead Software Architect, this intern will gain hands-on experience with software design and development in a fintech environment.

Location is in-person in NYC, with compensation at $25/hour for a 12-13 week summer internship. Responsibilities include collaborating on trading systems, debugging, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Recently completed degree in Computer Science, CIS, Mathematics, or related field (or pursuing).
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and C#.
• Familiar with software development methodologies, tools, and version control.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software engineering team on development and maintenance of trading systems.
• Assist in designing, coding, and debugging applications using best practices.
• Support integration and testing of software solutions across systems.
• Document work processes and code modifications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality improvements.
