Amazon in Seattle, WA is hiring a Software Development Engineer to help redesign and scale data-heavy platforms used across large financial datasets. You will own end-to-end software delivery, from design through deployment, and work with teams worldwide to implement AI/ML-driven insights.

You will mentor others, influence architectural decisions, and partner with business and engineering teams to ensure highly available, secure, and compliant systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• Experience with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, or troubleshooting network experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build extremely scalable components and features, and drive the roadmap.
• Develop software on the latest platforms and build analytical workflows.
• Own end-to-end solutions from design to deployment and maintenance.
