Job summary

Thread Bank is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join its Compliance Management team. You will monitor, test, and advise on the bank’s and its sponsored fintech partners’ products, services, and operations to ensure adherence to federal and state consumer protection, privacy, lending, and deposit rules.

You will collaborate across teams, interpret regulatory changes, conduct audits, and assist with policy enhancements while maintaining discretion with confidential information.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of banking regulatory compliance experience.
• Knowledge of consumer and commercial banking regulations.
• Ability to influence at all levels in a matrixed environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of federal and state banking laws.
• Monitor products and operations of Thread Bank and fintech partners for compliance.
• Interpret regulatory changes and inform Compliance Management.
• Test and monitor lending and deposit compliance; recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Compliance Management on fintech compliance.
• Assist risk assessments and identify policy gaps.
• Review policies and procedures for fintech operations.
• Research complex regulations to answer compliance inquiries.
• Assist remediation of audit findings.
• Support product development lifecycle with compliance input.
• Educate stakeholders on regulatory requirements and best practices.
