Capgemini is hiring a FinOps Engineer focused on Google Cloud Platform cost optimization in Atlanta. You will monitor spend, optimize resources, and drive cost governance with Grafana dashboards and Apptio Cloudability.

# FinOps Engineer – GCPAtlantaFinOps50k – 100k12/05/2026Full-timeOnsiteFavoriteAccess Job## Job DescriptionJob Description Monitor and optimize Google Cloud Platform GCP costs and resource utilization by leveraging FinOps tools such as Apptio Cloudability and cloud cost management dashboards Configure and maintain Grafana dashboards and report solutions to visualize GCP cloud data including usage metrics cost trends performance indicators and operational insights and understand plugins Understand GCP APIs such Cloud Asset Inventory BigQuery informationschema Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to implement cost governance policies tagging strategies and resource optimization practices aligned with FinOps best practices Develop automated reporting and monitoring solutions to provide visibility into cloud spend budget utilization and anomaly detection for proactive cost management Need to have working experience on Big Query for Cost and Slot Consumption How Reservations Quota works besides partition Should have ability to tune BigQuery SQLs to address shuffle issue leading to slot overuse Should be able to support defining strategy for cost effective and efficient Biq Query Data consumption The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 73,000 – 83,000 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
