Job summary

Buck Company LLC in Quarryville, PA is seeking a Finishing Associate to join our team on the 1st shift, ensuring final preparation of high-quality metal castings. You will operate grinding equipment, use gate-breakers and hammers, and perform quality checks to pass products to customers.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable standing in an industrial environment. Reliable attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to stand for long periods in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Reliable attendance for shift operations.
• Team-oriented with good communication and reception to coaching.
• Experience with metal casting finishing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding devices to remove excess metal and edges.
• Use gate-breakers and hammers for initial prep of castings.
• Perform quality checks and sort parts by type and quality.
• Follow safety policies and quality protocols.
• Cross-train to assist across production as needed.
