Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Finishing Supervisor in the Wayland, MI region to lead finishing line teams and ensure safe, efficient production. You will manage daily work assignments, monitor output, and uphold quality standards across shifting schedules.

Candidates should have 3+ years in finishing or production, supervisory experience, and knowledge of coating, polishing, or deburring processes. This is a full-time role with regional manufacturing partners in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Ability to read work orders and production specifications.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in finishing or production operations.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of finishing processes such as coating, polishing, or deburring.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Resolve employee concerns and document performance issues.
• Supervise finishing line staff and assign daily work assignments.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing to meet output targets.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Train new employees on finishing equipment and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance repairs.
• Track production metrics and report results to plant management.
