Job summary

Big Top Manufacturing, LLC, based in Perry, FL, is seeking a dedicated production helper to join our fabric structure manufacturing team. You will help ensure parts are produced on time, finish welds and paint where needed, and assist with labeling and packaging of products.

You’ll also participate in safety training and adhere to standard production procedures. The role requires the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch, maintain quality checkpoints, and collaborate with teammates to

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must obtain forklift certification within 3 months (on-the-job training provided).
• Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16".
• Ability to follow company safety procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all parts are produced on time and are of good quality.

• Responsible for housekeeping in your area and the entire facility

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year work history or military service with honorable discharge preferred.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to accurately exchange information with co-workers and management.
• Heavy lifting (50lbs) is required on a regular basis.
• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
• Ability to remain at workstation for long periods of time while using tools and machinery and performing repetitive actions.
• Manual dexterity to evaluate, modify and operate machinery and equipment.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
• Temperature of work environment ranges from 15 - 110°F.
• Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours subject to change at the discretion of management. Overtime is required, as needed to support production goals.
