Job summary

Schivo Medical in Plainview, NY, is seeking a Deburring-Finishing Operator to join a small team in our manufacturing area. The role focuses on deburring, buffing, and polishing medical device instruments to meet strict quality standards.

You will work from Wednesday to Sunday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, using a microscope for inspection, buffing motors, and an ultrasonic cleaner, while maintaining logs and collaborating with other departments.

Deburring‑Finishing Operator

Work in a team of 5‑8 members, primarily responsible for deburring, buffing, and polishing of medical device instruments.

Wednesday to Sunday – 4 pm‑12:30 am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions.
• Use a microscope to inspect your work.
• Use buffing motors to smooth, polish and deburr.
• Use an ultrasonic cleaning machine on medical device components.
• Maintain necessary logs.
• Provide necessary information to other team members and departments.
• Troubleshoot minor errors.
• Report on job status/progress to members of management team.
• Maintain quality, safety control standards.
