Job summary

Infinia Search is seeking a press finishing associate to take finished press pieces and prepare them for customer delivery by performing the duties described. The role requires reading and interpreting job packets, basic math, and attention to detail to ensure quality.

The position will involve cutting cores, printing core labels, producing customer-specified rolls with tabletop and arpeco devices, and inspecting finished products, then signing off on coworker work to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience and/or training is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively with team members & management.
• Ability to perform basic math; to include units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); experience and/or training is a plus, but not a requirement.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with team members & management.

Math Ability:

Ability to perform basic math; to include ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to measure with ruler and other tools down to thousandths of an inch. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Baseline problem solving.

Computer Skills:

Must be able to be trained on in-house Manufacturing software.
