Job summary

Snelling Recruiting and Executive Search is seeking a Finishing Operator in Broomfield, CO for a contract-to-permanent role. Pay rate is $21-23 per hour with 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm or 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm, onsite at Broomfield, CO.

You will partner with Manufacturing and Quality teams to deliver well-finished products that meet customer standards in a clean, high-tech environment. You’ll maintain bead blast machinery, transact work orders in Oracle, and support a small, respectful team with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read basic prints/schematics.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to wear PPE (N95) throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bead blast machines and perform required maintenance.
• Transact work orders in Oracle.
• Maintain attention to detail and meet quality standards.
• Monitor supplies and support final manufacturing steps.
• Follow safety protocols during material handling.
• Collaborate with a small team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for long periods.

Finishing Operator

How you'll spend your time as a Finishing Operator 1:

• Complete required maintenance of bead blast machines
• Transact work orders in Oracle
• Exercise a high level of attention to detail in all tasks
• Maintain quality control standards to meet customer expectations
• Monitor supplies in the area
• Assist in all aspects of final manufacturing
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling and moving materials
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties
• Collaborate with a small team, maintaining a respectful and efficient workflow
• Remain stationary while standing up to 8 hours per shift

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Finishing Operator 1:

• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent preferred
• 1+ year of job-related work experience
• Basic print/schematic reading skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and manufacturing programs
• Ability to work on your feet for most of the shift
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion
• Ability to wear an N95 mask and PPE throughout the shift
• Steel-toed boots required
• Willingness to complete background and drug screen
