GENERAL PURPOSE:The Finishing Assistant is responsible for ensuring that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labelling the items, and preparing the item for transport. The Finishing Assistant is also responsible for examining and inspecting containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. All employees must follow all Interpress Technologies’ safety procedures, food safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment.Entry-Level Training and Growth: This is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on training and a pathway for professional growth. Employees are expected to actively participate in training, build job knowledge and technical skills, and demonstrate readiness for advancement into higher-level positions with increased responsibility and pay as opportunities become available.
