Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Finisher Foreman to supervise concrete placement, finishing and curing. This role leads crew members, delegates tasks, and ensures work adheres to safety and quality standards.

The Finisher Foreman will drive Baker vehicles as needed and participate in on-the-job training and certifications to maintain SQP performance. A strong background in concrete finishing is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5 years related experience and/or training are preferred.
• ACI Flatwork Finisher Certification is preferred.

The Finisher Foreman is responsible for assigned facets of concrete placement, finishing and curing. Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel and determines when to delegate or actually perform the work. May be required to drive Baker vehicles and must comply with Company and DOT regulations. The Finisher Foreman is the lead trainer and motivator for his crew.

The Finisher Foreman will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, high quality, and productive (SQP) manner. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Proficient in concrete mix designs and effects of its usage.
• ACI Flatwork Finisher Certification.
