PositionOverview

The MillworkFinisher is responsible for preparing, finishing, and detailing wood productsthrough staining, painting, sealing, and other finishing techniques. This rolerequires a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship, and knowledge offinishing materials and processes to achieve consistent, high-quality results.

KeyResponsibilities

• Prepare wood surfaces for finishing through sanding,filling, and repairing defects.
  
• Apply stains, sealers, paints, lacquers, and topcoatsusing spray equipment, brushes, or other tools.
  
• Match colors and finishes to client specificationsand approved samples.
  
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency,and adherence to project requirements.
  
• Mix and prepare finishing materials, ensuring properviscosity and application.
  
• Maintain finishing equipment and spray booths,performing cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
