Job summary

IntelliPro Group in Mesquite, TX is seeking an OQC Quality Inspector to support outgoing quality inspections for finished products at client operations. You will verify inspection results, manage shipment control, and work with production and quality teams to address issues.

The role requires hands-on quality inspection experience in manufacturing, proficiency with measurement tools, and a focus on continuous improvement. Rotating shifts and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education or training in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing quality, or related field.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Experience with outgoing quality control (OQC), finished-product inspection, or shipment quality inspection is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling inspections of finished products to ensure quality meets customer requirements and standards.
• Manage shipment control system and analyze effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection equipment and measurement instruments meet specifications and are maintained.
• Verify corrective actions related to customer complaints and drive problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Drive corrective actions for quality issues identified by OQC within the production workshop.
• Collaborate with departments to address quality issues and implement actions.
• Develop and implement an annual training plan for employees in the module/production area.
• Organize quality-related training sessions and conduct assessments to ensure understanding of requirements.
• Maintain quality inspection records and documentation.
• Communicate quality concerns and findings to production and quality teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and inspection processes.
• Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned.
