Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Finished Goods Loader to safely load and unload finished products from tankers, railcars and trailers. You will follow procedures, document activities, and maintain paperwork to support efficient production.

Responsibilities include weighing loads, sampling as required, keeping areas clean, and adhering to all safety rules. Prior loader experience and the ability to work nights and weekends are preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
  • Able to operate non-CLD industrial vehicles/equipment.

Job Summary

The Finished Goods Loader is responsible for safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished products.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of all finished products on tankers, railcars, meal trucks, trailers, etc.
  • Obtain proper samples and send to lab for analysis in addition to maintaining proper paperwork.
  • Weigh trucks after loading, complete documentation, and turn into scale/dispatcher.
  • Perform general cleaning as needed in work areas.
  • Maintain safety in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
  • Able to operate non-CLD industrial vehicles/equipment (backhoe, telehandler, yard dog truck, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in loader operation and maintenance.
  • Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
  • Applicant availability for either shift preferred.
