Job summary

Benedettini Cabinets in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a skilled cabinet finisher to perform hand sanding and orbital sanding to achieve high quality finishes on panels, rails and stiles. You will study production paperwork, perform quality checks, repair defects, and communicate issues to leads.

This role emphasizes accuracy, safety and reliability in a fast-paced shop. Responsibilities include finishing readiness, strict adherence to process, and collaboration with team members to meet production

Qualifications

• One to Three years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Utilize pneumatic orbital and hand sanding methods to achieve finish quality on cabinet panels, rails and stiles.
• Study production paperwork for quantities, sizes and wood species to be hand sanded.
• Quality check all items and repair wood putties/defects as needed.
• Communicate substandard quality items to leads and supervisor prior to finishing.
• Work with focus to finish parts according to set production standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain shop cleanliness.
