Job summary

The RealReal in Glendale, California, is seeking a Valuation Manager of Fine Jewelry and Watches to lead day-to-day appraisals, pricing, and authentication for high-end items. You will educate consignors and clients, enabling a trusted, white-glove experience while supporting on-site and remote pricing initiatives for cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring strong jewelry knowledge, 2–5 years in luxury customer-facing roles, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fine jewelry in primary and secondary market.
• 2-5 years experience in the luxury space in a customer-facing role.
• Flexibility to work certain weekend days.
• Sales experience strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate valuation appointments with clients for a consultative experience.
• Conduct real-time valuations and authentication of fine jewelry and watches.
• Provide pre-consignment pricing services to consignors and internal partners.
• Maintain understanding of pricing trends and sell-through velocity with Pricing and Authentication teams.
• Own sell-through performance and velocity of items you price.
• Own appointment-to-consignment conversion metrics to drive client satisfaction and business results.
• Partner with Store Manager to align with customer needs and in-store priorities.
• Support additional store and team needs for a seamless retail experience.
