Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience as a server; Fine Dining experience preferred.
• Food handling certificate where applicable.
• Certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Anticipate residents’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant operations, dress code, and table setup.
• Work with the F&B Director/GM to keep residents satisfied with food and beverage programs.
• Set tables per Coterie standards and serve meals and beverages.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with state liquor regulations.
• Process payments through the POS and handle cash as required.
• Assist with events, banquets, and themed meals.
