Job summary

AMA Atlanta is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our busy dining rooms in Atlanta. You will keep all aspects of the dish area and dish machine running smoothly, ensuring cleanliness and proper chemical usage.

You will follow checklists for setup and close down each shift, interact positively with service staff, and assist team members as needed. The role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and bend or climb in confined spaces.
• Written and verbal communication skills with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of the dish area and dish machine.
• Use proper pre-soaking procedures, cleaning and following proper chemical usage.
• Use checklists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift.
• Maintain positive interaction between service staff and other team members.
• Communicate with, and assist other team members.
