Job summary

The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in South Bend is seeking a Part-Time Fine Arts & Education Manager to lead music, visual arts, and performing arts programs. This role develops engaging curricula, mentors staff, builds partnerships, and supports children and adults in discovering talents in a welcoming environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least three years of program/management experience (teaching preferred), and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music, art, education, arts administration, youth development, ministry, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of related program and management experience; teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate Fine Arts programs.
• Create class schedules, curriculum, program fees, performances, showcases, and events.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate staff, instructors, and volunteers.
• Maintain staffing levels, training records, licensing standards, and Safe From Harm compliance.
• Build partnerships with schools, arts organizations, and community groups.
• Coordinate program marketing with related teams.
• Maintain program records, budgets, inventory, and facility schedules.
• Teach lessons or direct performances when needed.
