The Salvation Army North Corps in Omaha is seeking a dedicated Fine Arts Coordinator to develop and execute arts programming that aligns with our mission, while ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of fine arts spaces.
The role drives engagement across pottery, drama, music and open studio offerings, coordinating instructors, volunteers and seasonal staff, and maintaining program calendars and reports.
Full- Time Monday- Friday 8:30 A.M.- 4:30 P.M., Starting at $30,000-$34,000

The Fine Arts Coordinator is responsible for the development and execution of fine arts programming that follows established strategy and objectives. This includes promoting the mission of The Salvation Army North Corps and assuring effective day to day operations of fine arts program spaces.
Supervises instructors, seasonal staff, and volunteers.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. A bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Music, Education, or a related field is preferred but not required. One (1) year of experience in fine arts programming or a related field is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate specialized training or proficiency in one or more fine arts disciplines sufficient to instruct and lead programming in that area of expertise. Experience in music instruction and/or classroom or youth teaching is strongly preferred. Additional experience in staff supervision, program coordination, and facility management is highly desirable.
Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
successfully complete Safe from Harm training as established by The Salvation Army.
Physical requirements include good speaking, hearing and vision. Excellent manual dexterity. Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment. This position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
