Job summary

Trinity Washington University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty of Fine Arts to teach two 3-credit courses (FNAR 243 and FNAR 253) in Fall 2026. Classes meet Friday mornings and Mon/Wed afternoons in person on campus.

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree and demonstrate strong teaching skills, with a preference for experience teaching dual enrollment students. Finalists will submit transcripts, syllabi and references; teaching demonstrations may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong teaching skills are required.
• Experience teaching dual enrollment students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach FNAR 243: Blues, Jazz Gospel and Ragtime and FNAR 253: Music and Social Change.
• Conduct classes in-person on Trinity’s campus.
• Develop syllabi, assess student work and provide feedback.
