Job summary

Citizens Advice Mid Mercia is seeking an experienced Financial Wellbeing Adviser to join our Orbit Financial Inclusion team. You will provide money advice with income maximisation, welfare benefits guidance, and energy advice to Orbit customers, through telephone and face-to-face interactions, guiding customers through a full journey.

You will interview clients, interpret information, present options, and refer to other advisers as appropriate, while maintaining confidentiality and using sound

Responsibilities

• Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities
• To interpret information and present options to clients
• Assist clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer to other advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate
• To maintain confidentiality, use discretion and sound judgement in undertaking all areas of responsibilities

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Wellbeing Adviser to join our Orbit Financial Inclusion team. You will be working for our Financial Inclusion programme and focus on supporting Orbit customers both telephone and face to face exclusively with:

• 1. Money advice with income maximisation
• 2. Welfare benefits advice and take-up work
• 3. Energy Advice and Support Case work is expected to help navigate the customer through a full journey.
