Our team provides specialized experience and knowledge in financial management, process analysis, risk management, and performance measurement to support project activities.Specific initiatives and work products that this role supports include:Supporting transformative initiatives by collaborating with team members to partner with senior stakeholders to modernize financial processes through innovative solutionsSupporting the implementation of Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools, including Power Apps solutions, and presenting solutions to stakeholders for iterative feedbackCreating performance metrics and interactive dashboards utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, and moreIdentifying and implementing process improvements over financial tools and templates, and using technology to improve financial managementAssessing existing business processes and procedures to identify pain points and areas for improvement. This includes coordination with process stakeholders to complete current-state assessments, review of relevant documentation to gain a thorough understanding, and evaluation and recommendation of future-state solutionsAssisting in the creation of project plans to support the execution of end-to-end development efforts and ensuring that realistic timelines are set, communicated, and followed through, barring any significant holdupsCommunicating project task updates to senior-level executive clients on a regular basis and confirming shared understandingCollaborating with senior team members to embed financial management standards into the design and development of solutions, ensuring alignment with federal financial policies, audit readiness, and operational integrityCoordinating with other team members and/or building necessary skills to develop financial automation, data analytics, data visualization, and/or artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for financial management use cases. This may include: building financial metrics and supporting dashboards utilizing data visualization software (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, etc.); building low-code applications and user interfaces (using PowerApps, Power Platforms, Appian, ServiceNow, etc.); building AI models to process and analyze high volumes of structured and unstructured financial data (using Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, Python, R, SQL, etc.).What You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"PUBLIC TRUST\"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related fieldONE (1) years of experience in business transformation, financial management, data analytics, audit or accounting.Experience with low-code and no-code technology platforms, including SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and TableauAbility to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems and apply a variety of solutions, and lead client-facing discussions and meetingsExperience with:Supporting client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior-level leadershipUtilizing project management best practicesWorking in teams to produce high-impact work productsDocumenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvementsConducting research to investigate client problems and working collaboratively with a team to formulate and recommend solutionsWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Master’s degree preferably in Business AnalyticsCertifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) and/or strong understanding of these concepts, or interest in obtaining these certificationsExperience analyzing data using programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, and DatabricksFamiliarity or proficiency with cloud platforms, such as AWS or AzureAbility to develop insightful visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI or QlikExperience with change management or organizational design, especially in financial environmentsDesire and ability to quickly develop an overall technical skillset related to analytics and automation to apply and tailor to the specific needs of clients and the mission of their organizationsThe annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00.
