Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to design, build, and maintain data models and financial data products that support revenue close, KPI tracking, and management reporting. You will write complex SQL, build Python automation, and collaborate across Accounting, Tax, and Engineering in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on data integrity, auditability, and reproducibility, with a strong emphasis on automation and scalable reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, computer science, information systems, data analytics, or another technical discipline.
• 1+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, data, or a related analytical role (internship experience applies).
• 1+ years of experience writing SQL and using Excel (internship experience applies).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data models and financial data products that support revenue close, KPI tracking, management reporting, and related finance workflows.
• Write complex SQL for financial data modeling, incremental processing, cross-system reconciliations, and performance optimization on large datasets.
• Build Python automation to reduce manual work in finance processes, including data movement, report generation, validation, and pipeline orchestration.
• Create reports, tools, and standardized metrics for operational measurement and decision-making using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
• Own data integrity for key financial datasets; implement data quality tests, business-logic validations, and documentation to ensure accuracy, auditability, and reproducibility.
