Job summary

Galatea Associates, LLC is seeking a Financial Software Engineer to join our growing team in the United States. We build and improve key systems used by our Capital Market clients, enabling access to liquidity and capital and supporting payments, lending, and other financial services.

As an associate, you will participate in design, implementation, and testing, own technical tasks, and learn finance topics relevant to projects.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering or a related field.
• On-site work at client locations or Galatea offices
• Experience with software engineering in finance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn about Galatea’s collaborative culture and client-focused delivery approach.
• Take ownership of design, implementation, and testing of specific technical tasks.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more areas of the project.
• Build relationships with client contacts and contribute to project goals and timelines.
