Allied Technologies and Consulting is seeking a Financial Support Assistant to support the US Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) at Fort Detrick, Maryland. The role focuses on budgeting, data analysis, and the preparation of financial reports and briefings for senior leadership while coordinating travel funds, shipping requests, and meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a finance-related degree or equivalent experience, 1+ year in finance, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related business discipline preferred; if no degree, related business and administrative experience
• At least 1 year of finance or business experience
• Excellent Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills - intermediate level
• Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook/TEAMS skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Previous experience in military or government/government contracting environment preferred
• Experience with GFEBS preferred
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain NACI clearance
• Must be able to pass a Background Investigation and Drug Testing
• THIS IS A FEDERAL CONTRACT

Responsabilidades

• Have familiarity and understanding of budget development and execution in a DoD environment and analyze data for effective use of funding
• Assist in reviewing reports on programmatic planning and execution data; provide updates to financial plans and prepare leadership briefs
• Use GFEBS to initiate purchase requisitions and generate monthly financial reports and queries
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations with accurate data and formatting; present slides during meetings or note changes for post-meeting updates
• Prepare and process Travel Fund Cite Letters and Shipping Requests
• Use Microsoft Outlook to schedule meetings and execution briefs
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and communicate effectively under demanding timelines
• Participate in special projects as required
