Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) is seeking a Financial Specialist 13 to analyze, structure, coordinate, and resolve highly complex financial transactions involving MSHDA-financed multifamily housing developments. The role requires advanced financial modeling, market knowledge, and compliance with fair housing programs.

The position may offer hybrid work based on performance, with all work performed in Michigan.

Competenze

Four years of professional experience in a financial role performing accounting, auditor, or analysis of financial data.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
Possession of a CPA may substitute for one year of professional experience.

Mansioni

Analyze, structure, coordinate, and resolve highly complex financial issues involving MSHDA-financed multifamily housing developments.
Serve as a technical and financial specialist for complex mortgage transactions, pre-final-close mortgage modifications, and other funding sources.
Identify programmatic risk and recommend appropriate action, including development of alternative financial scenarios.
Ensure compliance with fair housing programs and related financial policies.
