Job summary

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 6 license required; Series 63 license obtainable within 6 months.
• US citizen, as role supports federal government or contractor.
• Experience with Defined Contribution plans, mutual funds, and college savings plans.
• Customer service experience in financial services preferred.
• Must be detail oriented and able to ask probing questions and use data to guide customers.
• Strong active listening skills to uncover explicit and implicit needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial education on retirement plan options and related tools.

• Explain effects of distributions, loans, and investment changes within plan rules.

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing financial education around multiple investment and financial vehicles that are available to plan participants, including offering guidance on appropriate tools and services. Guidance is primarily focused on qualified retirement plan administration.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound calls and providing financial education.
• Answering complex questions, investment and payment options available to plan participants.
• Offering guidance on appropriate tools and services.
• Providing information and guidance around the effects of plan distributions, loans, investment choices and other specific plan rules.
• Working independently to troubleshoot and research issues, and develop solutions.
• Processing transactional support to plan participants.
• Focusing guidance on qualified and non-qualified retirement plan benefits.

Requirements

• Possess FINRA Series 6 License. Ability to obtain the FINRA Series 63 License within 6 months of employment.
• Be a US Citizen (this role provides support to the federal government and/or federal government contractor).
• Demonstrate Defined Contribution, Mutual Fund, and College Savings Plan experience.
• Have experience in customer Service, and/or financial services.
• Be detail oriented and well-organized.
• Possess ability to ask relevant probing questions to better assess customer needs. Also, use data to persuade and influence customers to objectively guide them.
• Demonstrate active listening to customers to understand both articulated and unarticulated needs.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum: 50,000.00 USD

Maximum: 60,000.00 USD
