Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant in its Commercial Financial Services practice in New York City. You will analyze problems, develop solutions, and support implementation as part of a client-facing team, contributing to multiple workstreams and coordinating with project leadership to deliver outcomes.

Travel up to 25% is required; you will build client relationships through professional engagement and deliver high-quality analyses and deliverables.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3–5 years of experience in the banking industry or commercial financial services consulting
• Experience supporting projects in one or more of the following areas:
• Operational risk and/or large bank compliance
• Banking regulations and compliance
• Risk and controls assessments, including process mapping
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing client-ready deliverables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (incl Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage workstreams and meet deadlines
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within and across teams
• Ability to work onsite at client locations in New York City plus travel as needed

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Prior experience in management consulting
• Exposure to Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIBs)
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP)
• Advanced degree (MBA, MA/MS in a related field)

The annual salary range for this position is $107,000.00-$178,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
