Nationwide is seeking a Financial Services Representative to process retirement distribution transactions and ensure compliance with plan and regulatory requirements. You will use multiple systems to manage workflows, verify data, and communicate with participants and plan sponsors.

The Financial Services Representative processes retirement distribution transactions, ensuring requests are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with plan and regulatory requirements.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Operations Division Manager or Service Team Unit Manager.
Education: High school studies. Undergraduate studies desirable. Participation in technical coursework such as LOMA, CLU, ChFC desirable.
License/Certification/Designation: FINRA Series 6 license preferred, and may be required, based on assigned product/line-of-business or distribution system.
Experience: One to three years of work experience with product-related customer service work experience preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: General knowledge of office practices, customer service, information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (i.e. annuities, mutual funds) preferred. Effective verbal and written communications skills to effectively communicate with others. Basic analytical and problem resolution skills. Proven ability to research, analyze and solve problems, leveraging existing processes and procedures. Ability to understand, anticipate and proactively act on customer needs. Proven decision-making skills necessary for customer contacts. Effective team-building and collaboration skills.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
Associates must acquire the required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. The national salary range for Financial Services Representative : $46,345.00-$75,500.00
The expected starting salary range for Financial Services Representative : $46,345.00 - $60,800.00
